not sure about that side of the ocean, but, if your gonna run 8's--its best to have those wide ones like that....my stepdad has a little small boat trailer that came with 8's and had a couple of blow outs back to back...replaced with those wide ones, and has never had a problem since...
mike breaux...its pronounced "bro".....
i think i should have taken notes along the way, because ive forgotten waaaay more than i remember...

Hi Adam,
I've used 13" wheels on both builds, and plan to use similar for the current build, but I have built on caravan chassis, and thats the size they come with. :thumbsup:

I think the bed bugs have the same wheels as the ones you've ordered.

I think they're similar to Clives (UK Corlett) wheels

I think he has some scuffing problems with his, but it was down to the mounting plate of the suspension units;

Nice to see your progress chap :thumbsup: Keep up the good work.

I have 15" tires on an 5x10 trailer (and 20" on the TV ;) ) . My tear also weighs more than the average teardrop.

My trailer is 4'x6' with a 2' tall box and rooftop tent. I plan on using 4.80-12 wheels/tires on my trailer.

If you are going to go wide on small wheels just make sure you can source/fabricate a compatible set of fenders/mudguards. I got 10" mini wolfrace wheels 6" wide. The problem I had was once I had added 1" to clear the frame I needed a minimum of 7" width to fit a 10" radius tyre which in the UK isn't that easy to find.
