We've got a large 17 Quart Roaster Oven we can bring. Let me know. We'll be arriving late, late Friday Night. Most likely after 10:30 pm.

I generally don't eat lunch on Saturdays at a SC gathering. It isn't necessary.

Another reason I don't need lunch -- liquid calories. :)

Do and chimney

Postby doitright » Wed Oct 14, 2009 9:34 pm

I will also have a couple do's and a chimney or two. I will be camping so my black pots will also. They will be ready to cook in. Sunday I cooked 60 biscuits between my 14" and 12".

I'm doing a test of the grits in a crockpot tonight. Wish me luck!!!! I will be bringing the crockpot that holds 10 cups of water, but I'm testing in the little one I have that holds 2.5 cups of water. I'll let you know how it turns out....

okiecamper, please medicate and get a wheelchair, we will all push you around or rent a rascal, lol. We will miss you if you can't make it. I'll try to hold up our end of the loop and pray I get a good neighbor....

Alright Okiecamper ... I am having 2 discs removed from my neck and a metal plate put in their place as soon as we get back from LCG. Now is that dedication to LCG or what? Trudy

OK, crock pot grits came out perfect  and I only stirred them once in the night. Very impressive. My question is, do racoons like grits????? I guess I could make room in the galley and close it up. Just a thought.
