Postby doitright » Sun Oct 18, 2009 9:56 am

Madjack: Time is moving too fast I am having so much fun getting ready it is as if time is flying by. I hope when I get there time will slow down so I and all will enjoy it. This is getting like a candy bar by the time you get to the last bite you try to savor the taste. ( I do not eat much candy)
Well I would like to know if there anything that need to bring so to help out
Do you need a camp chef two burrner with griddle
turkey stove (for hot water)
Propane
any size of large pots up to 15 gal.
dish pans, soap, scrub pads ( I will have some griddle pads from SONIC)
Stainless Steel prep table is coming also West tn hart oak fire wood from Marvin Windows (scrap)
Rope lights I may have 100 to 150 feet.
elec. cords
Just say it and I will try to bring it or find it to bring

doitright,
I believe you are as excited as I am about this trip. :R Mike and I were just talking this morning about trying to be as minimalist as possible since we are in a Huyndai Elantra and a 4x8 Silver Shadow. Since we have to make the trip down and back in two days each I want to leave the bed as empty as I can for fast in and out at the in between campsites. I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you. 4 days till we head out with lots of driving and stops planned. Should be a great trip.
Lisa,

We're excited also.

Wish we could leave home earlier, but Pat, Brian & Stacey have to work Friday. I'm off all week, so I'll be getting things ready.

If anyone is traveling I-10 from the east and need a place to stop during the week, we're not far on the road. I've got plenty room in the back yard. Anyone is welcome to stay a night or two. My # is 225-290-1326
We're located a few miles south of Baton Rouge, LA.

It's sunny Sunday afternoon ... I'm trying to get clothes and such , as much as possible , packed ... so if the A.D.D. wouldn't kick in, I'd be ready !!

I told myself I would try not to haul too much crap , so some Halloween stuff will have to stay home. I'm definitely bringing the bicycle to get around easier.

And sorry, I already snuck into the halloween candy I'm bringing... mm mm

TSK! TSK! I you hadn't said anything, nobody would have known. It's not cheating until you get caught red handed!

BTW...... I'm bringing along a costume or two in case the mood strikes me. If'n you see something really strange walking around the campsite, it will probably be just me. Just toss me some candy (or a drink) and send me on my way!!

Well, that is not certain. Last year, the camp host gave us a couple cords of wood. That was unexpected, so I don't know if it will happen again.

If you have it,and can bring it, I would say, go for it.

Otherwise, if we don't have it, w will go into town and get it.

Don't sweat it. We will have fire. Oh yes, we will have fire.
