Lake Bistineau...flooding??? update pg 3

Postby madjack » Sun Oct 18, 2009 2:15 pm

...they pulled the plug on Lake Bistineau on Sept 8th so, no water, right...wrong...as they said "...and then the rains came"...it refilled the lake and then some, the lower sites on either side of mine and the party sites have had water on them, they will be in the dry in time but it might be a bit muddy between those sites and the lake but should have no effect on the pads and decks and should not be a big bother to us........

It looks like mostly dry weather this week, so that should help.

Well, this is funny---NOT!

I was reading the posts thinking, "Are these folk nuts, or are they going a week early? Then, I started checking the dates, and my reservations, and what do you know? My brain and calendar have suffered a critical melt-down! I booked my reservations for the right days, but I have cleared my vacation for the wrong days, a week after the event!

I'll have to see how easily I can persuade my employers to reschedule on what for them is a moment's notice.

I'm an idiot. I am pissed. I may be even angrier tomorrow. More to follow . . .
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Tony I did the same thing last year. I had three weeks vacation so I added a week to my vacation ( my supervisor was worried I was going to use it Christmas  ).

;)

Thomas (2bits) did the same thing. He works in a financial profession, too. You guys caused this recession. Now I know why.

I was an art major in college. We are supposed to be light headed. But, I got my dates right for LCG4.
