Looks like a good start. Is that a roof mounted AC and what did it come from? Looks like it fits in a roof vent hole, is there a manufacturers name on it? Info please, that is the smallest one I've seen.

Looks interesting, also just a little steep in price. I guess I'll have to keep my eyes open and see if I can scrounge one somewhere.

Vairman...I hear your excitement!!! I'm still collecting parts too...I just got back from a trip and picked up my wheels and stabilizer jacks today. They came in while I was gone. Now all I have to do is wait for payday and see what I can get next! I'm guess I'm feeling pretty good now is that, except for fenders and lights that I haven't decided on, I can get the rest for my trailer parts locally and really begin to get after it.

ac units

Postby rmcelroy » Wed Oct 26, 2005 10:40 am

I called the company about a price quote. They said the 800btu unit has to be on a closed air circuit-and didn't recommend using for this type of application. I would run out of air! Do you guys have any ideas about that?

That doesn't make any sense, because on their site they show a kit to mount it on the outside of the case so I'm not sure how that could be a closed air circuit. Maybe I missed something.

...by closed air, I bet they mean reciculated air...what an AC system does anyway...however the cost of one of those units is prohibitive from what I've seen...what kinda quote did they give you...inquiring minds would love to know
