Queenie, iff'n ya don't like mud, just don't step init...mud isn't gonna be a problem...we're just funnin' ya...HONEST...the sites are all paved pads and wooden decks and the only ones which may have problems are reserved by us hardcore types anyway...worst case scenario is we party at the rally site, ON THE HILL with a no mud(semi) guarantee.........

p.s. just remember...busted plans often result in the bestest party..............mj

First two gatherings in our new teardrop and they are both underwater. Is someone trying to tell me something

This was Joe Pool THIS year. Fortunately they moved us to another area...

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

Damn, I just washed my car during lunch. Oh well, maybe the rain gods will be tempted to mess up my car BEFORE we leave. :worship:

We have rain forecasted for Wednesday. Go get the car good and dirty then.

I walk around the mud. There is really no reason to walk through mud at Bisteneau.

Gary and I will be there ... rain / shine / mud.

With my neck problem ... we cant drive very far any day ... so are leaving tomorrow ... stay in S. Missouri / Wednesday meet up with the folks at Maumelle AR ... and Thursday into Bisteaneu. Just got an email from Ex-Minnesota boy and they had made reservations for Wednesday at LCG and they got a call that park was going to be closed on Wednesday. They have a site over close to us by the bathhouse ... so pretty sure they will come on down with us. Trudy

I am checking the weather twice-a-day, and it looks like, at the worst, we'll have one day with a chance of rain -- Thursday.

Nobody go and tempt the rain gods by washing your car!!!

Alright, alright, alright............. Whew, I was worried that the party may grind to a halt but boy, was I wrong!! I called my camp buddy Big Woody Dave and he is ready to come down from Wisco and tear it up!! He'll be arriving on Thursday and we'll be in Friday around noon. If we have to camp up in the overflow area, so be it.

:worship: This show must go on, Madjack is not the only one celebrating a birthday this week. My birthday is tomorrow, the 20th, so I'll be there if the park is not closed. And if it is, we'll find another site to do this. It's only 75 miles to my house and there's a little used private park at the end of my road, so ..........Jeff

Hey it is my birthday on the 25. I will be driving home that day. Wanted to stay until Monday but having trouble finding a teenage sitter for 5 days and getting him to school. So we will have to be home Sunday night.

All kidding aside..... my plans for the weekend changed before I even logged on this evening to find out about the flooding. Can't say if it's for the better or worse right now.

Originally planned on leaving Friday morning at OH dark thirty and getting there sometime well before noon. Found out today that my request for personal time was approved so I will be staying until Monday. That WAS the plan all along.

The change in plans..... I will leave for work Thursday at 4:30AM with the trailer packed and attached to the truck. Depending on how heavy a day Thursday is, I should get off work sometime between 5 and 7PM. I won't have access to the interweb at all that day, so I won't know if the park is open or closed until I get there sometime in the middle of the night.

Back stroke and water wings!!!! All my meals for the weekend depended on having electricity. If that doesn't happen, it looks like cold beans out of the can washed down with copious amounts of adult beverage.
