Just to refresh everyone, here is the design. The window ahead of the door is actually the window for the opposite side, but this side will have one also, it's a morphed Scottie.

Dave...I asked Steve about going to lunch, but he opted out. Next time, I'll have it already made. It ended up being like 2 when we quit.

It was a busy weekend to get the rest of the frame finished and all burned in. Plan is to dress up some welds and get it in primer and paint next weekend. Probably shoot it in the aqua and then paint bottom subfloor in black. I checked the height of the floor in relation to the top of the garage door...it will be within reasonable Scottie dimensions...

Looking good.

I do have a couple questions for you. What is your clearance with the dropped floor? What size wheels and tires? I have a 93" garage door opening and someday I'd like to build something I can stand up in...I'm 6'4", just trying to figure out what I would need to do to make it fit.

tires are 185 70R 14 and I've only got an 83" garage door. This is sort of a Scotty clone...they were originally built with just under 6' of headroom. It has a 5" drop floor that's a walk in one, not a step down type. I'm 6'2" but figure it will work fine for as much time as I will spend standing in it. Doug

Thanks for the info Doug, can't wait to see how it turns out. Where in N. CA are you located, if you don't mind me asking? I will be up that direction next month.
