Newbie from St. Louis

Hi all,
I'm another newbie looking to build my own teardrop. I'm an accomplished woodworker with a lot of furniture and even a couple of boats under my belt. I love camping and all the outdoor activities that go with it, and am looking forward to building my own teardrop over the winter and using it come next spring (or earlier if finished).

Welcome from Wet Washington! Spring, if not sooner? Doesn't it stay pretty cold at ' if not sooner' back there?

I don't mind camping in the cold. St. Louis isn't that bad. As forthe build, I have a heated shop.

Good morning Rob welcome to the forum. We're currently in Arkansas heading your way sorta. coming up the east side of MO but don't know if we'll get over to St Genevive or just go up through Herman and that west home. Good luck with the build and we'll see you at a gathering soon.

Gary

Wow! A heated shop. Lucky you. And a furniture builder to boot. Expect good things from you. There are some very beautiful TDs on this site that should be inspiration.

Welcome to the board. I used to live in St Louis myself back in the early 80's. I love the fall colors and weather you guys get up there. With all the great float fishing streams and cool places to go close to you, you're gonna love a TD. Welcome again!!!

Welcome ... and hope you'll join the South Central when you can.

We include our Missouri and Kansas friends too ... and now since we had LCG this weekend, met some great folks from the Memphis area so we talked about camping in northern Arkansas,...

No matter where... hope you can join us soon!

Great to have another from Missouri, we are not in great numbers but we make it up with heart and food, maybe not in that order, but you get the drift. Looking forward to seeing you at a gathering in the spring. With a heated shop you should be done by then.........Queenie Jeanne
