We have used check lists for many years, updating them as needed. We have different lists for different camping trips based on whether or not we have any kind of hook-ups, and what time of year it is.

While they were talking about a home kitchen I was amazed at how close it is to the needs of our little galleys.
Each of our outings there was something forgotten and on our 1st out I would have loved to have this list.

Serving Bowls or Dishes (if you want to use pots etc to serve from, get's some trivets or use oven mits) I like the pots keeps the food warm
If you like drinking then consider having appropriate glasses, a bar set, a wine rack, and cork opener.
