Wow? Memorial day weekend?

I'll have to see what week I end up with for spring vacation.

Greg, we have gone to Palo Duro the weekend after Mothers Day the last two years. Mothers Day is 5-09-10. We will not be able to go on Memorial Weekend and the park will be crazy full of people on that weekend.

Whew! !! I thought I was smokin crack there for a while because the first post has been edited to the correct dates but I didn't realize that when I first read it so I thought the 14-16 was memorial day, but then it was changed to the week after Mother's day but that was the 14-16th! :?

So the 14-16th is right. Bobby maybe you can edit your post to something else? I didn't drink that much tonight I swear but I had to look up all the dates because it threw me!

Are all the sites non-specific sites? Looks like the sections are pretty separated. How often do you see this at parks? It looks like Lake Tawakoni is he same way. I am new to camping

To-Mas, I believe most Tx State Parks are non specific...that is why we generally send our reservation numbers(reservation must be paid in full) to someone who will arrive early and claim as many sites together as possible...most of these parks have been pretty good about accommodating all of us in the same area when we do this..........

I have made our reservations. On the way to Cloud Croft last year, we spent the night with Ed and Ruby and they drove us out to the park. It was just beautiful. Reservations are for May 14 and May 15th. Cant wait to camp there! Trudy
