First, I wish to thank the people who answered my first two post, I went and picked up my Little Guy last Friday.

The Trailer is like new and I have found after one day of rain that it does not have any leaks. It is a four by eight model with the standard Little Guy Galley which seems serviceable enough for my Coleman Stove and cooking pot and frying pan. It does have a cabinet inside and also four battery powered lights. I look forward to many weekends of camping at tracks across Va and NC. This weekend will be our maiden voyage going to Elm City NC for a race and spending the night. Again, thank you and now this 61 year old man can move his rather weather worn body off of the ground into the protected space of a new camper.

One last remark, yes the Scion tC pulled the trailer like a champion and at times you can forget it is back there.

Pretty soon, the seviceable galley will need something. I don't think TDers can leave anything alone. And that's the best part of being a TDer!!

Hope you have a great time with your new little teardrop !!! I'm sure you'll sleep great and after using it a few times, you'll find ways to modify and fix it up the way it works for you and your camping or outings.

Good for you!

I had a 4-wide Little Guy, and they do tow really well. Find some Teardrop Gatherings in your area, and come on out. Camping is fun, and camping with a bunch of teardroppers is a bunch of fun.

BTW, this has to be your last new post in the "Newbies" forum -- you're part of the family now. ;)

Congratulations on your purchase. This is the bit that interests me. Although I don't own a TD yet I was hoping to get one to pull with my xA until I read it is not rated to tow anything and there are people online who will say you are crazy to tow anything with a Scion. There are also people who will point out that a gas Yaris in Europe with a smaller engine than my Scion is rated to tow 2000 pounds.

Here is a quote by someone else:
"It is a strange thing. One of my cars was built in Australia. As a Holden Monaro, it can tow 3500lbs according to the owner’s manual. When it gets here, it’s a Pontiac GTO and the owner’s manual says “you cannot tow with this vehicleâ€

That's awesome. You have 3 posts and they read like this:

1: Possible New Teardrop Owner.
2: I pick up my new trailer on Friday.
3: By Gosh, I have become a NEW teardrop owner.

You came, you saw, and you conquered.

Enjoy! :applause:
