Can you say what start angle you used on your axle? Also, how much is the floor dropped?

Tom...the start angle on the axle is 0. It's a flexiride...the drop on the floor is 5". Doug

:applause: Doug that's looking great. The design is really close to the Scotty. Very cool! I am in love with the whitewalls. Saw them on Len's Scotty when he did his and I love the turquoise rims with them. I hope you boys don't mind but I think that's going to be the way I'm going to go with my Scotty.They're toooo pretty not to have them! I never heard of beauty rings before I saw them on Len's trailer.(I've learned sooo much here!!) What a difference they make. Your trailer is going to look awesome. I'm really looking forward to watching your build and hoping to learn lots more. Thanks for the inspiration!! You truly are an artist.

You ought to just leave it the way it is and show it off. Why junk it up with an old camper body? People will "Oooh" and "Ahhh" just the way it is. With the money saved, you could buy a nice tent. :lol:

Ever have one of those nights that you just can't sleep? I figured I might as well get up and go to work. Built a fire in the garage and was going by 4:30 AM. Got the sub frame and the deck built. It fits too snugly to plop it all in assembled, so I'm going to put in the drop floor, then attach the upper decking on afterwards. I just gotta remember not to coat out the places where I need to epoxy. Now to pull it apart and coat out the bottom. Then a nap in front of the TV...Right now the roll of Marmoleum is "flattening" out in the living room, will be nice to get that out of the house. Doug

Looking good, Doug. You must not have any close neighbors. I would never start working in the garage at 4:30 AM, even if I was up and the weather was warm! I even feel guilty about turning on a porch light at that hour. :lol:
