I built eggbert on a harbor freight 40 x 48 frame. For 179 dollars lights safety chaines tires and rims and certificate of origin for a no hassle title ya just can't beat it. One thing make the tongue extra long if you are up on 2 wheels. I had to lengthen mine 2 feet to finally get it to handle well behind my 1200 Goldwing.
I went to the smaller tires to get him to tow level. Adding the tongue was real easy 2x2 square tube slightly less than 10' just let it run front to rear and bolted all crossmembers to it. removed stock coupler and installed it on new tube and tossed old tongue.
P.S. a class 2 ball mount will slip into the tube at the rear if you weld this connection rather than bolt it. It does require a little shimming with 1/8 " plate but now you can have a bicycle rack or continental kit if you wish.
