Newbies from Nevada

Postby jpiland73 » Mon Nov 09, 2009 9:38 am

I've been reading the forum for a while and have decided to join. We purchased our tear drop on labor day weekend of '09 and have taken it out just about every other weekend since then. When I get more time I will try to post some pics. We bought it from american teardrop near Auburn, CA. Hope to get to know everybody.[/img]

Welcome to the T&TTT list from the beautiful blue-ridge mountains of Western NC!

Congratulations on your teardrop purchase! I'm still building mine, can't hardly wait to get it finished and go camping. Hope to have it out and camping by Spring 2010. Post pictures, when you can!

Welcome. You may have bought your TD and that's great. It gets you camping NOW. But I'm sure you're going to see a gazillion ideas on this site to incorporate into what you already have.

Welcome to the Forum, and I am sure you will find the ideas here to add your special touch. As you explore the postings, you will notice a good and active group of teardroppers around Las Vegas - Fine Folks. Hope to meet you at a gathering down the road.

Welcome to the sight, it is a bunch of fine fokes here I'm from Las Vegas myself, there are alot of us I have a cargo trailer I'm (MY WIFE ) almost finsh with. There is a lot of small trailers going to Callweld Bay this weekend, to do some dutchoven cooking. Sure they wouldn't mined if you came out, if I get a little time off I'm going to be there. You can meet Joeann leader of camp-cook, a fine lady. They all are really nice people and can realy show you some fine food cooking in a cast iron pot I'm trying to learn from them. Where do you go camping.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Nevadan. Like Jim mentioned, there are quite a few active teardroppers in the Vegas area, stick around awhile and you're sure to meet them. Hope to see you at a gathering someday

Welcome! We are also going camping out at Callville over New Years weekend as well. We'd love to have you join us there if you can make it.

We do a lot of camping and cooking so it's a lot of fun.

Ken should be piping in here before long.
