P ut my teardrop on Craig list Today.

I put my teardrop up for sale on Craigs list around noon today. Would you believe I had 3 responses already. A lady will be coming to check it out
tomorrow. Maybe its because of the price---$2000---- I had cataract surgery
tuesday and I am not suppose to lift anything more than 20 lbs. I hope there is
some one available to lift the galley lid so she can see it.

That's a low price, a great deal for someone. Mine will have cost me over $2k by the time it is finished, and that's not counting time and labor. Are you sure you're asking enough? Yours looks like a nice camper.

Price is what you'll be happy with when it's all said and done. Unless your a mfg, you can't count your time. You do it for the enjoyment and because you want to prove to yourself you can do it. Besides keeping busy on a boring day.

You are right Gage. I have only built this one so definitely not a mfg. I feel the same way that you can't count your time. A lot of the enjoyment was in the build and using it to camp in and evacuate from a hurricane. Yes I will be happy if I can get $2000 and move on to the next project.

That's great - I think you will be able to give someone a really good deal on a nice camper. You'll be happy, they'll be happy, that's the perfect transaction...

Hate to burst your bubble but that has never been proven. Alum on already built airplanes was no good because it already had a shape. But what is known is the alum sheeting came from 'over stock' because it was no longer needed for bombers that were no longer being built in the numbers of World War II. And became readily available after the war.
