Heads Up Steeler Fans!!!...

Postby Dean in Eureka, CA » Sat Nov 14, 2009 12:28 pm

The Cincinnati Bengals are comin' to town and they're bringin' a pair of Eureka Sr. High School standouts with em'!!!
Linebacker Rey Maualuga ( 58 ) and a wide reciever just moved up from the practice squad... Maurice Purify. ( 14 )
I don't know if I'll get the game on TV, but if I do you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be watchin', especially if they give the nod to Mo!!! :R

I'm sure the Steelers will do their best to give Maurice a warm welcome to Hitsburgh.

The Steelers are going to be pumped up for this game, after giving the Bengirls a gift-wrapped win in Cincinnati earlier in the season.

What a game, so far. The ball's been in the red zone several times for both teams, and nothing but field goals out of it.

Looks like things are different with those boys from Eureka on the team. 8)

I really liked the play by Rey Maualuga where he gave the steelers a fifty-yard gain on a really foolish pass interference. ;)

I feel sorry for Maurice Purify, who came in for his first play off the practice squad only to have his quarterback get sacked. :(

As much as I hate the Cincinnati Bungholes, at least they worked for this win. What a defensive game -- nine combined field goals, and not a single offensive touchdown.

Oh well, now the Steelers/Bengirls rivalry stands at 53 and 29. Another fifty years, and the Bengays might be even with the Steelers.

This could be a good omen for the Steelers. Cincinnati won the AFC North Championship in 2005, only to have the Steelers beat them 31-17 in the playoffs on the way to winning Super Bowl XL. 8)

They are having a mixed but decent year. I have always admired Mike Singletary. I wish him the best -- unless they are playing the Steelers.

Nope, just the same old same old. They start listening to the hype about themselves and the defense ends up playing the whole game....rarely a good turnout when that happens.
