Hello from Denver

Postby Jim/Alona » Sat Nov 14, 2009 12:03 am

We have fulltimed in our motorhome for the last 7 years but have recently taken a resident manager position here in Denver. In our travels we have seen teardrops here and there, we always thought they were cute but that's as far as we went.

Now that we are stationery we have decided to spend the winter trying to build a teardrop. Our plan is to pull it with our Outback when we spend our weekends exploring. Cheaper than taken our motorhome!

Welcome. From motorhome to tear!! You'll really have to learn to downsize. But, you'll love it. And Colorado is so beautiful, you'll be out every chance you get.

Welcome!

Sounds like a great plan. A lot easier to navigate the backroads, too.

Welcome! You will love the ease of using the teardrop. I pull with an Outback and it handles the trailer just fine even on mountains and curves.

We built a 5X8 Generic Benroy in June 08. We made the transition from a 34 ft fifth wheel. We are really enjoying the downsize. We are planning to build another teardrop in the spring and take a month and go to Alaska with it in July. I hope you enjoy the downsize as much as we have.
Welcome...
