Tear Drop Names

Well I started my new one and it's not really named yet
So far I've only called it the Tiny Grumman and The Mini Grumman as it's shaped after that profile only shrank to 40 1/2"x 7' length at the tip of the curve 6'1" Floor space

Pop tart ? Just havin' fun with that one !

But you know what , it will come to ya one day. They tend to name themselves.

You may smash a finger during the build and decide to call it

I did not respond to the poll as the answer varies. We are planning to build a new teardrop in the Spring of 2010. We have already selected the name and artwork for that one. We like to geocache so the name is "Cache Inn" with the geocaching logo at the rear of the text on both sides.

The teardrop we are currently using was completed early in the summer of 2008. We did not name that one originally, but since we got it we have taken a number of adventures that we would have never considered in the 5th wheel we had before. So we named it "Miss Guided."

We will probably put "Miss Guided on the back of the new one as well. Maybe "Miss Guided Too." We'll see....

My original "working name" was the Rum Locker.



Then I ran across a number of striking compass roses in various places. I like this one from Chesapeake Light Craft.

The name I'm considering has a double meaning which will not mean anything to those who haven't read any of Roger Zelazny's books. I'm curious how many will get it.

BTW - I'm planning on a varnished modernistic woodie.

When we had our TD in Yellowstone, it looked like a silver buffalo... and now, after 80 nights in it, it feels like my little silver sleeping cocoon... but no, we have not given our TD a formal name. We're slow that way.

I love all the different names that people come up with,
Now if I can come up with one for my new one
The last one was named before I started the build "The Rolling Stone" named because it was painted with gray textured paint. It has since been repainted a different color and will probably change colors again in the spring. Sort of like a giant cameleon

Yup, we have yet to start to build, but a good name is as important as a good trailer. You need a solid base to build on. Laurie and I have been throwing names back and forth for weeks, and togethr we came up with one we love, which is Our Little Tin Can. It will be alum.
