Another Newbie - College Station, Tx

Postby paisano » Mon Nov 23, 2009 5:53 pm

Thought I would do a little post. We really enjoy reading the posts and have chuckled a bit also. Although not new to the RV thing, full timed for years, decided to get a Little Guy 5 wide, installed a small ATV basket on the back and a Bug Catcher (HAM Radio antenna) on the tongue which works very nice. Tow with a VW Passat (gas) with no problem at all but have to watch the tongue weight as not to over do it. Currently tongue weight is 135 lbs which is no problem. Anyway, heading to Goose Is State Park (Rockport Tx) Sunday for a week again.

You all have a great site!

Welcome. I hope you aren't another Aggie. We have exceeded our quota. It takes us all day just to find the ones we have when they get lost in the woods.

Paisano --

Italian? We need more Italians, actually. 8)

Not an Aggie but can relate to the Italians well. Infact, the vino in the galley helps keep the tongue weight down. A little vino and a good pasta meal, a bowl of minestrone and home made bread...it just doesn't get any better at feeding time.

Wow, you guys have made me start thinking about all the towns in Texas I have visited. It was like 25 years ago....at my age it's good to remember. I'll have to share that with my doctor, heck he thought I was in a coma...

I went To Collage Station, Dallas, Forthworth, Austin, and Lockhart. Lockhart had some really good BBQ beef.

OH yes, welcome aboard T&TTT
