The second actual picture is where it landed , dead center above the counter. It was a little jelly jar porch light I bought at a yard sale for $2.00
I mounted a wall shelf and then the light. It was just after I took the pictures so I missed that one. Intend to put a center divider in the storage area running longways and will install a small light in each of the compartments to find things in the dark.

Only got in a couple hours this weekend , too much going on.

I am dividing the storage area of the chuck wagon into 4 lockers approx 18" deep by 18" tall by 40" wide



I decided on some real cheap (75 cents) ac lighting for the lockers here is my cheesey cheap lighting kit



There will be eight lights all together since each of the 4 locker will have different items each side.

Thursday Family commitments

Friday scouted Spring Mill ( fun but not real productive).

Saturday got a 3 hour repreve from yet another family dinner , blast off was moved from 12 to 3 pm so I could sneak in a couple hours to work on the electrical on the CHUCK WAGON.



Here is a close up



The switch panel is a coleman stainless steel smoker box. Designed to be filled with damp wood chips and tossed on the grill to help smoke what your cooking.

However..... It made a dandy mini switch box !

The 4 switches are for the 4 cargo storage lockers in the front



last one is a bit fuzzy sorry !

All the top storage dividers are in and yes the lights do work.

Lookin good Bob. If you do decide to run it down to Spring Mill and don't want to tow it let me know I have my doubles. Looks to me like your set up will be a bit easier.

Full size bed behind the 1/2 galley wall ( It converts to a sofa in about 45 seconds)

Rainy and drizzle all day sunday so I worked on electrical things.

I converted 2 inexpensive kerosene lantern into 120 volt lights.

The chuck wagon will have 2 bat wing removable tables
( I reused the cargo door cutouts 18 x 36 )
to extend the prep and cleanup area.
These tables will store in the under the deck storage area.

In order to have some source of task lighting after dark
I decided a mount for a removable lantern hook and
a plug in will be installed on each side. The lantern hook
and lantern will be installed near the table after arrival.



I documented the conversion in the electrical section. Sorry about the fuzzy pictures my cheap camera does not like close ups.

Can not believe I spent almost 9 hours this weekend

I thought it would be a 2 - 3 hour job.

I now have 2 lights in each one of the 4 storage
lockers and have electrics stubbed outboard above
the bat wing tables. The task light in the rear galley
works on a switch and the 2 outlets are hot.

I installed the lower center wall between the right
and left storage locker. We did a little measuring
and a pony keg just might be an option in 1 locker.

CAN YOU SAY PARTY CENTRAL .....

Could anyone help me find the clip on clip off
batwing table hardware. I looked in the hardware
section of the hardware store and zero ideas.

I know I have seen the post before .....................

Good news for my immediate camping family.

A pony keg is 13 7/8 tall and 17" in diameter and the tap is 4" the lockers are 18" at the door and about 20" tall inside and 19" deep. We will be able to install a pony keg in the chuck wagon. Just Ice it down in a plastic tote and we are good to go !

So is the bulb LED so there's no heat inside the little container?

How about this: Because the cost of refilling your fire extinguisher is more money than an LED bulb on eBay.

Besides, think of the additional "social interactions" with the nurser nipple lights at gatherings.

Fire extinguisher what fire extinguisher.

1st I reserve the right to burn my trailer down if I wish to.

2nd I have a gas stove and oven in the rear that puts out a hell of a lot more heat than that 4 watt bulb.

3rd I was breast fed and have no use for a nursing nipple then or now.

4th I can hold the illuminated bulb in my bare fingers all day so I peronally don't see it as a deep or genuine concern.

5th thank you for your concern PERM and please don't be offended if I choose to totally ignore this potential "fire hazzard"
