ready mixed aluminum paint?

I did a google search for 'aluminum paint' and got lots of hits. Most sound like the stuff you are trying, but I could not find that one. Tractor Supply sells one. Maybe try one of the others out there. Some of them (at least) said that they are self priming also.

looking at aluminum paint on google I found a PPG site that talked about an al paint with a varnish base...could be used almost anywhere and an al paint with an asphalt base that was meant for covering roofing...don't which you got or how it applies to the problem you have had with it but.............

Thanks loader I purchased from lowe's the al. paint for wood. goes on great.I'll post pics when the final coat goes on..
