Hey, thanx for posting pics of your bed frame construction, Fuzzy! I like this!
I've been considering doing the same thing, & your pics pretty much cinched it for ME!

I'm no carpenter, but I CAN weld, so I think I'll follow your lead here.
Besides, I like the fold-up option, especially in the EXTEMELY limited space of my little 5x8.

BTW, what size tubing did you use? I'm thinking 1" would be about right.

I got a 5x8 the bed folds up there is a 8" peise od wood then 46" peice of plywood on 2x4s piano hinged
