Greetings From South Carolina!

Postby SirJoey » Tue Dec 08, 2009 2:26 pm

Hi Gang! SirJoey from SC here. Been lurking about here for a few months now, off & on. I've read a lot, & learned a lot, thanx to you bunch of brainiacs!

I own a tiny lil' 5x8 CT, with a man door in the side. I bought it new about 2 or 3 years back, & I'm dying to convert it. Shortly after buying it, I installed a window, a roof vent, & some shelves. So far though, that's it.

I'm planning an extended (month long) trip next Summer, during which time I'll be staying in it, so I'm hoping to make it reasonably liveable by then, however I'm SADLY lacking in carpentry skills, so even though I've read through the posts here quite extensively, I'm sure I'm gonna have tons-o'-questions!

Lookin' forward to the comradarie of this group of nutz, where I should fit right in! :tipsy:

Hi SirJoey, welcome to the finest message board on the web. You have come to the right place to ask questions. I'm sure there are a number of Cargo Trailer converters here on the forum, and they can probably help you with some of your construction problems. Good luck.

Thanx for the welcome, guys! Chip, I'm only about 60 miles south of you, in Chappells. North & South, I'm halfway between Spartanburg & Columbia.
East & West, I'm halfway between Greenwood & Newberry.
Nice to meet someone right here in the "neighborhood"! :)
