iPhone App. recommendations for Teardrop Lifestyle.

Well I just got this thing so let's make it shine. Please state your favorite iPhone Apps and give a brief explanation why it is.

I'd appreciate all things teardrop lifestyle related. Meaning Apps that give info on travel guides for established campsites, boondock camping, best GPS, regional outdoor activity guides, hiking, biking etc. Even some guides to regional healthfood stores, gyms, vegan restaurants etc.

Is there an App, for example, that locates you by GPS then you can click a "Things To Do" button for instant happenings in that area? Anything that will support and enhance the teardrop adventure.

I'd like to take a short cut to perusing through over 100 thousand Apps if I can.

I use the iHandy Level to level my tear when I get to the campsite. Very handy

MapQuest is good for directions.

The Weather Channel is good for weather.

Last software upgrade, Itunes went to default and decided to erase over 1200 unique pictures of my TD build on both my harddrive and the phone
We are no longer good friends so I'm back to Sony Ericsson...limited? Yes, but at least I'm sure they don't decide what picures and music that I want to move around.

Where to? locates anything you want based on your current location. Entertainment ,points of interest, first aid etc.

Pocket tunes......listen to any radio station around the world that is on the internet Note this one costs ten bucks but there is no fees afterward. Nice to listen to your favorite stations when traveling

Don't forget about the phone subscription too.

I don't have a iPhone, I have an iPod touch (an iPhone without the phone and camera). With a Wi-Fi connection, it works just like an iPhone. Games, music, browser, apps it is handy. The only beef I have is that Apple changed something with the charging. It doesn't charge when I connect it to my truck's radio like my old iPod did.

It would be incredibly silly in this day and age to have to argue the merits of a computer (which is what these phones are now). The fact that you were able to post such a ridiculous analogy from your computer is a contradiction in itself. So next time you post on this forum, why don't you just do it with your old set of Britannica Encyclopedia's?

ME TOO...I have a cell phone, but I can't hear it ring less I'm wearing my hearing aids, and I like peace and quiet better, so I just use my cell phone to tell what time it is, cause I don't like to wear a watch either...I know, I'm just old...

Urbanspoon - Shake it up to find a restaurant near you.
Shazam - Ever hear a song on the radio but don't know who sings it? This one will listen to it and tell you the artist and album its on. If you like it enough it will point to Itunes to DL it.
The Weather Channel - Tells ya the weather..nuff said.
Pandora - Streaming free music that caters to genres and artists you like.
Every bank now has its own app. I use Bank of Americas for money transfers and the like.
Zippo Lighter - If you are ever in the need of a fake lighter
iHandy Level - Good to level a table or teardrop.
Yo Mama - Yes that's right a yo mama joke generator. Good for a few laughs around the campfire.

I'm looking for a decent GPS app that includes topos. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great

GoSkyWatch. Impressive astronomy app.

Motion X GPS. Lets you map out campgrounds, or where ever you might be, and take photos along the way. The end result is your path on a Google map with push pins of the photos. Great for hiking or sharing locations.

Navigon GPS. Real GPS for driving or walking. Watch the routing. It takes me from KC to St. Louis then Memphis if I want to go to Little Rock.

Weather Bug Elite. Because I hate the little adds in the regular version.

Games. Hi How Are You, Inkvaders, Rolando 1 and 2, Soosiz, Ynth, Gomi, iBlast Moki. Mostly puzzle games.
