Linda, Jon isn't sure he can get off to come but is going to try. If he can, we will double up. With us doubling up, he can pay when he gets there can't he?

Thanks,
Betty

Only 90 days til Beavers Bend! It can't get here soon enough. Looks like it will be full.

Thanks for the reminder Woody, I'll pass the time frame along to "the retired one" so he can get the current build finished in time.

And he probably wouldn't be satisfied with either one.

If he ever builds a TD he's completely satisfied with, the world just might come to an end. :o

Postby queeniejeanne » Fri Jan 08, 2010 8:33 am

We are looking at upgrading a little for a while...no one may want us to show up at gatherings afterward, but we are looking at a 18 ft trailer. We still have the tear and the Kamparoo Outback. We woke this am with 6 and Sat will be -4......add to that the wind chill At -12 they are 25-30 MPH.

If you show up in an 18 ft trailer you will have to hide it behind a tree......

That's the rulz...........Ask Catoosa Grani.............they showed up to their first Beavers Bend gathering and they had to hide their motorhome behind a tree.

Linda

That's right and they were all vey friendly but wouldn't admit that motor home was with them. Just kidding, they just teased us a little bit. We did have to park behind a couple of trees but was still visible to all. I did enjoy sitting in it during the rain tho.

How funny! Great stories to be told around the campfires. Yes I will consider that before we enter into the decision. Queenie Jeanne

It was at Beavers Bend that Linda suggested to have a way to put on make-up without sweating or freezing, so the idea of the TIN HUT was born. It is not an 18 footer but you can get out of the elements in some comfort. No matter what the rig is, the people you are with make the differance. Bring it on Queenie.
