WFCO 8725

I am going to be hooking up a WFCO convertor and had a back flow question. Do I need to concern myself with stopping any reverse flow from the battery when shore power is disconnected? On that same note, will I get backflow so as to heat up my 12 volt system through the adjacent breakers on the convertor itself? I am currently figuring on an additional line, that will be switched, from the battery to fire up the system. Perhaps this is redundant?

I don't have a WFCO, but I do have a Parallax converter and have no problems with "backflow" when the 120 volts are disconnected. But I too added a switch in the 12 volt feed line between the battery and the distribution panel in the Parallax. I use it as a 12 volt disconnect while underway.

My switch will be an A-B switch so that I can do a disconnect when I reach my destination
