Here's the latest update that was just posted:

Update – January 21, 10:11 PM ETShare
Thank you all for your patience when we lost our video feed at the source here in Ely, MN this evening. We had a power-surge and a piece of equipment needed to be rebooted. We’ll take steps in the future to prevent this from happening again. We were all frustrated to have it happen at such a critical time. We sure wish we knew what happened during those 2 hours!

The newly designed WildEarth website held up well as folks signed on to view Lily’s labor. The North American Bear Center’s website struggled under the load because we are still in the process of migrating to a new server system. In 2 weeks time www.bear.org has gone from averaging under 2000 visits a day to over 100,000 per day! Already this month we have seen more traffic than we had in all of 2009. The interest in Lily has been overwhelming, and we’re very grateful for this incredible opportunity to educate the public about bears.

As I write this, I’m listened to Lily’s not-so-gentle snoring. She seems to be in deep sleep. We anxiously wait for the next round.

She really seems to be sleeping peacefully now, doesn't seem to be so
restless. Maybe she did have them while we were "gone".

From what I read, we will definitely know when there are cubs there because they make a lot of noise. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Wonder how many people will be up all night keeping watch?

Mandy..I'm just getting back to check in. Which way is she facing right now? It sort of looks like her head is off to the right and we are seeing her back....or is that her belly? It does seem like something's going on now. Like she's contracting or something... unless that's just from her breathing while she sleeps.

Here's the latest update:

Lily became restless this morning about 4:30AM CT. She licked a white substance off her chest. We suspect she is leaking milk as her labor progresses.

Did anyone pull an "all nighter" with Lily? I tried but she wasn't doing much so I gave up and went to bed. Now the web is down again, or at
least I can't get on it. I couldn't believe that I was sitting here staring at
that bear, but I knew there were many others doing the same thing. I
wanted to poke her to make her move or do something, anything. Funny
how that bear has brought so many people together.

They are saying we may have a cub!

I thought I heard some little cub suckling noises, but haven't seen anything yet.
