I called yesterday and reserved my Wednesday overnight spot at Devil's den in Ark. Will probably show up at BB on Thurs around noon unless I find another park to check out for the nite. No rush to get there, but the next two months will go slow!!

Just some of you Which ones I'm not sure yet. Fourth year.
Yes it's been a long winter already. Today it's cold, windy and drifting snow on top of icey roads.

Yes I will be there. Can't miss my Spring trip.
I was in Durant Ok the 14th thru the 17th of January. I drove my mother down to visit her great grand kids. Had a nice trip. I went for a Sunday morning drive and visited with Woody, Tammy and Morgan, George and Jeana, and Glen at Lake Murray. Was disappointed to miss Todah. She was out for a hike.
I hope all is well with you also and look forward to the end of March.

Randy, Woody had told me you made it by a gathering last weekend.
I know you will be so ready to dig your trailer out of the snow and hit the road in March.

Glen, I had not realized your name wasn't on the list but you are right. We have filled the 31 sites so now we are looking at doubling up.
But, don't forget, we booked this a year in advance and some folks have to bow out at the last minute.
So, if you are on the "double up" list you will be moved into canceled spots.

I am sooooo ready to go camping and Beavers Bend can't get here soon enough.

You would think so wouldn't you Woody.....Well it's not. Charles has been sooooo busy since he retired. I sure hope he finds time to finish the new build.

Well , don't know what the weather down at BB is like this weekend, but here in OKC early tomorrow starts freezing rain, temps around 29* and getting about an inch of ice, then snow starting in the evening and until Friday morning, so maybe 3-4 " but Tulsa area is supposed to get 6"+

And if you haven't heard there's a new song for Oklahoma (sung to the popular "Oklahoma" musical ) .. Oklahoma is changing the words to the State Song.

It now goes like this:
SNOW…….klahoma Where the cold front's sweepin' down the plain. And the piles of sleet, beneath your feet Follow right behind the freezing rain.
SNOW…….klahoma Ev'ry night my honey lamb and I, Travel home from work and hope some jerk Doesn’t wreck our car in passing by!
