Yes, it is about 500 pounds.
The interior: Open the door and there are two countertops on either side of you. Under the left cabinet, there is an ice box. Under the right cabinte, there is a furnace. In front of you is a double bed, which can convert into a dinnett area.

Size: previous post has out side dimensions.

Thanks,
Dianne

Hello, its me again. The Aliner is still for sale. If there is any one interested and is afraid of the price, just talk with me, I am not firm on it. (I currently have it posted at $2,700 but open.)

So yeah, still available.

Hope everyone had a good New Year.

Hard to see from the pics, how big is it when its not deployed? it looks like there is a huge overhang. ANy idea on the dimensions inside? How large is the bed? Electric hook up? Shore power hook up? I am very interested

The trailer sticks up above the cab by a couple of inches when I have it closed. It hangs off of the side by about 6 inches on each side.
The inside has about a double bed and I can stand up and raise my hand and not touch the ceiling, so it has clearence.
I know it has a heater but I do not know if it works. I never tried to use the electricity, umm...sounds bad, I know...but I do not know if the lights run on battery or elect. but I never used them.
Out side dimensions:
Closest to cab is 39.5 inches wide.
Closest to tailgate is 52 inches wide.
Total length is 6 feet.
The thicker width is 20 inches long.
(It kind of makes a 'T')

Hi Diane,

FWIW, popping the topper off of your new Dakota is not that hard. It's just a simple connection that connects the lights to the topper. A 9/16" socket will get the clamps off.

I always pull the platic bed liners out of my pickups. they just rattle around and the dust and dirt that gets between them and the box ends up "sanding" off the paint of the box, hence allowing rust to eat at it. You can try to sell it on Craigslist, I always give mine to my brother who recycles them.

Just thought I'd give you my 2 cents. I hear you though that the cash would be nice! I know you like to camp a lot, so leaving it on the truck for a few weeks or the whole summer would probably be fine! Just don't take too big of a woooooopn' on it... yaknow?

Warmly,
Tam

Hi Dianne, William in florida here. I want to confirm you still have the camper for sale? I see the dimensions you have posted but do not see the outside width of the upper section, the part above the bed rails of the truck. I assume the front to back dimension is 72" or 6 feet as you mentioned. Could you please measure across the top of the camper and post your measurements. Next question is what year is this camper and do you know the exact model number? I cannot find this unit on aliners website. thank you for your time

William, check the link below.

http://www.koransky.com/aliner/.

It might not be the same floor-plan, but the pics may help. I think Dianne's price of $2700 is a good buy.

wow what a great website Mike, thanks very much. that has all the pics and info I would need at this point. If I get one of these I will be building a custom trailer to tow behind my jeep rubicon with matching wheels and tires. I really like the idea of not being wrapped in canvas so the hard sides look great to me. This aliner is a bit wider than I would like but it will work. I wonder how many of these truck campers aliner sold? I can not find many of them for sale ! Thanks again for the website Mike, what a great resource.
