Dan-

How do you get this "WORK OF ART" register/licensed? If it is anything like here - it cost me well over $150 to have it inspected - a license plate issued, taxes, tags etc.........

The Rosewell is beyond words - great

Hello Bill,
we dont have to get them licenced over here.
there are some rules & regulations governing size, weight & lighting.

drivers passing their test after a certain date have to pass an additional
towing test but im well away from that one.

best rgds dan.

Yet.

Go on, Dan, make 'em jealous - as yet, no inspection, no testing, no registration. Just get a copy of the tow vehicle's registration plate, stick it on the back of the trailer and drive down the road.

And to think you guys think you're in "the land of the free"....

roswell fit out

Postby dandan » Sun Jan 24, 2010 1:38 pm

Greetings,
hope you are all well. :)

decided its time to pull my finger out & get the fitting out
of the roswell underway.
its got to be ready for the Stiff Upper Lip Gathering on May 28-31st.

the insulation left over after lining behind the radiators & fitting out
the attic will be used.
Image

also picked up a new car.
yes, a new, new car with 5 delivery miles on the clock.
got £8000 off with the scrappage deal included.
thats almost half price !
probably the only new car i will ever get.
Image
lucky they were offering a big discount on the sort of car which i considered
the best suited for dragging the roswell.
had to be painted silver too!!!
time to search ebay for a tow hitch.

hope to get my teeth into it over the next couple of weeks.
will be posting piccies for you to see how poor my woodwork is & laugh at.
