Welcome from Estonia – its geting shape

Postby MeelisV » Wed Nov 09, 2005 3:00 pm

Hi (sorry my english is bad)
Like abovesaid one TD comes (someday) to Estonia. I´m already started to build.
I found a old frame from glass transport truck similar like this http://ns.netflare.co.uk/~admin29/image ... rap200.jpg and modified to trailer frame.
Next I bought axle kit from http://www.bestnet.ee/index.php?keel=ee and wheels such http://www.opony-alufelgi.pl/baza/felgi ... rChrom.jpg these were extremely cheap now needs (already making) wheel adapters from boltpattern 4x100 to 5x139,7
Plywood is orderd and thats it for now.
Budget is limited and free time is short too - this makes progress slow.
Because my english is out of practice thats why I try to speak more with photos.
some pictures are already in my album on this forum.

A woman has the last word in any argument.
Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

Welcome to the board. Looks good so far and I really like the wheels that you are going to use. This is a friendly bunch here, so if you have any questions, just ask. I know you will get an answer her. The profile is really nice too. Best of luck with your build and keep the pictures coming.

Good Luck, fellow Balt; I'm Latvian. Your English is much better than my eesti.

Tallinn is a beautiful city. Took the night train from Riga, years ago. I'll have to visit again someday.

Hey Meelis,

Welcome to the forum. Your english is fine! But if you need help, Finn can probably help.

I took a look at your photos. You are off to a good start. That's a lot of metal though. Are you planning on bouncing that on some rugged trails?

Keep us in the pics... As Madjack will tell you, we love the pictures!

Mike...

P.S. The closest I got to your country is when I went to Denmark on my birthday. And of course we know, everything is different on the east side!

Mike

I,ll be glad to help.. no problem.. and carry on the good information and friendship that you all have provided me.. which Im very thankful..Like
I mentioned that Estonia is 3 hours away from Helsinki sooo we can surely
meet... Some beautiful places there in Estonia..As well as in Latvia and going down thru Poland - On a route Via Baltica..

You notice the similarity there in the utility trailer that he shows in them
pics and sites. The axles and hubs are universal here..

But we,ll see what we can start doing on that...this is getting interesting..
Its catching on... Whew

Welcome Meelis!

Your english is very good. I don't speak any other languages so I'm always impressed with those that can speak more than one language. I think it's great that we have international members. It makes our forum so much richer.

I look forward to seeing more pictures as you progress on your trailer.

Again, welcome.
