How' s about being logged in for ten minutes - to give others time to log in - type in a greeting only once - to allow for dial up users; how about no posting of pictures in the thread. And Finally, give a start time ( in a sigle time zone - we can do the math!)

Didn't we try this a couple of years ago? It flopped, everyone was watching the Super Bowl and forgot about the forum.

Only thing you have to do is be logged in - lets say about a few minutes before the half time log in - then you can go and watch those cutie commercials - take a a nostalgic trip down memory lane with the Who and come back and log out - the forum doesn't machinery doesn't care if you're at the keyboard or not, but you must be logged in for more than 5 minutes in for it to count. The more who stay logged on - the higher the count will be

Gage,

I think pictures were involved a couple of years ago, and I like the idea of keeping it a simple log in and hello. After all what's a super bowl without a few thousand friends to share it with?

I'm in

Ummm  ....What's the possibility of bringing the system down by doing this?

We should use this as an opportunity to stress-test the system to see what it can stand. We log in, post huge pictures and video files, email everyone who hasn't posted, flame Caseydog, then sit back and wait for our stimulus money to come in.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.
