Hey Dale,
I think you've got the best personalized avatar so far!

Dale, I didn't realize how big the model was, I thought it was smaller.

Thank you all. AF, the cabin is almost a foot long, and about 14" overall, including the bumper, being 1/12th scale. It's too hard to build a smaller one and get any real details in and on it. Actually, it isn't as accurate as it was. In my plans I've extended cabin length to almost 12', still on the 9' chassis, raised the rear corner about 6 inches, enlarged the battery box, added nearly a foot more to the tongue length, and may not put on the bumper. But, it's close and still looks basically the same.

Sometimes I pretend to be normal. But, that gets boring...so I go back to being me.

I like building my models really BIG. 1/6th scale... So a 4x8 teardrop ends up being 8" tall by 16" long... I can really picture stuff at that size...

Lets see if I have something uploaded already... Ah, here is one...

Mike...

Dale, don't give it up. It's great seeing you and it together. I didn't realize it was that large either. Another great avatar and another convert. :applause:  :applause:  :applause:

You most definitely have Chris, and I can't wait to start meeting people in person next summer.

Hey, it wasn't really my idea. Doug started it all with his personal picture thread. I just realized it might be a good idea to change our avatars for the reasons I've already stated. I'm just glad so many people have come along. (even though the BRASS has been stubborn) I think it will help the site. But go thank Doug. It's his fault. (is that called "passing the buck"?)

Mike, I built my model full size.... oh... never mind..... Today, I may finally get the battery box remounted... that would be nice... once the wiring is done.... again. And that box under the floor seeeemed like such a good idea, and was, till I started moving the axle all over god's green acre.

Steve,

Anyone wanting my identity can have it..............in fact, I think if I just traded identities with anyone I'd come out the richer!

As far as the 3 Stooges..................well, here I am, trying to get people to change their avatars tp personal images and ya'll did that...............well, at least for a while. Then ya went an done got goofy on me.......................... so now tain't many a'taken the thread fer serious. Just seems like some sorta Communist plot to me. (Oop's, is that too political?) :laughter: (I guess you've got some sorta plan up your collective sleeves, huh?)Yes, We Do.
