Check out line

After a brief scan of the checkout line, mentally calculating basket loads and throughput speeds, why do I ALWAYS wind up in the slow line?

NEVER get on the shortest line. That's my rule of thumb which I never follow.
"Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." - Mark Twain
"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift." - Albert Einstein

Well CD, I would be afraid to say, not knowing....but, I solved that problem, I only buy white socks, so they all match... ;)

White socks all of the same type from Costco.
The only problem I have is when they get old & stretch out... Don't like wearing socks that fall down around my ankles.
Oh, and when I find one with a hole where the big toe goes...
I can't stand even putting one of those on my foot.

I've been told that I'm a total sock snob.

Missing Socks

CD, you must know by now that years ago the hosery industry teamed up with the major appliance groups and installed a device in your dryer that turns socks into wire clothes hangers. I discovered this device when we converted to plastic hangers and found the wire ones back in the closet somehow. Unfortunately removing the device disables the dryer and voids the warranty.
Good Luck, Hoss

The missing Hot Wheels turned to Dark Matter because they were at just the right angle, picking up triangulated signals from three cell phone towers and contained 3% cadmium from China.

P.S. And because you were wearing socks. ;)
My goal...
