NEVER get on the shortest line. That's my rule of thumb which I never follow.

Forget that. I just want to know why I buy 10 new pairs of socks every year, and end every year with 10 individual socks with no match.

Well CD, I would be afraid to say, not knowing....but, I solved that problem, I only buy white socks, so they all match...

White socks all of the same type from Costco.
The only problem I have is when they get old & stretch out... Don't like wearing socks that fall down around my ankles.
Oh, and when I find one with a hole where the big toe goes...
I can't stand even putting one of those on my foot.

I've been told that I'm a total sock snob.

CD, you must know by now that years ago the hosery industry teamed up with the major appliance groups and installed a device in your dryer that turns socks into wire clothes hangers. I discovered this device when we converted to plastic hangers and found the wire ones back in the closet somehow. Unfortunately removing the device disables the dryer and voids the warranty.
