What are you paying for regular unleaded gasoline where you live?
It seems every time I travel, the fuel always cost more on the road.
I saw that it hit $1.99/gal here today
I'm in North East Texas.

In central Florida, it's DOWN to $2.279 Nov 12. A week ago, it was down to $2.499. At the current price, we feel lucky to have it that low. Just goes to prove everything is relative. After it is up for a while, we sort of get used to it and are glad to see it come down any at all.

I'm hoping it gets even lower. We're envious of you all with gas prices under $2 per gallon.

Just got gas tonight, it was $2.14. I bought it at the place that is usually the lowest. Most places are still at $2.17 or $2.25 I'll wait till my truck is empty till I fill it, hopefully it will continue to drop.

Why is California always so high, is it taxes?.... a lot of the price differences seem to be taxes, not the basic gasoline price...

found it........ http://www.energy.ca.gov/gasoline/statistics/gas_taxes_by_state_2002.html

Andrew, is there dancing in the streets?

We probably have another war of some type if prices got that high.... wow, an SUV with a 25 gallon tank could cost $150 to fill, and we might have to stop buying our daily Starbucks of coffee at $4.00 per grande..... total $960 / year...

Heh, we're down to ~$5.68 based on the current exchange rates. Still hate dropping 50E to fill up the tank of my car that has an engine smaller than my Dad's old bike, but thems the breaks.
