Been busy working on making a full size mock-up of the cabin area. We wanted to sit inside her and to check the cabinet space etc.


This is the front passenger's side.




Here's the passenger's door open with the forward cabinets indicated.


In this view you see the aft cabinets indicated.








It sure isn't very big but will be comfortable.

Why bother making it in wood? Just epoxy the cardboard and duct tape it to a trailer!

Dave, nice work on the mockup I like that rolled lower portion of the cabinets.

I really need to do a mockup, if I can ever make up my mind on a profile lol

I agree, but the packing tapes not goin' stick to wood for long, I would suggest screws.

There ya' go - see you're almost done! Good luck trying to keep them cardboard cabinet doors closed! I think mock ups are really neat!

Hi. I've been a lurker for a bit and normally wouldn't post on someone's build thread but just have to say.. this design, your model and mock up. There are some brilliant people on here, and I've learnt, and been inspired heaps, but I am really enjoying watching this thread. I reckon, judging by your preparation, this is going to be one fantastic build. Can't wait to see the sawdust fly

The only problem with the little mock up - which is amazing
Is that when you're home and every time you walk by the little mock up sitting there on the mantel, your going to have pack your bags, call off work, and hitch the car to the Tear in the garage and get out camping.
Although you could always just pull it into the driveway, pop the galley lid and have a BBQ-
