A newbie- be gentle-
Hello all, sorry if you've heard this before, here goes. Looking to build a small travel trailer on the frame of my tilt 5 x 10 utility trailer. My wife has a business where she does traveling weekend shows, so we need it to be part hauler /part travel trailer. I'd like to use it for weekend trips with my sons as well. The idea is this- build on the chassis (3500 lb with wheels dead center) put a large door at the rear for loading- a hopper door would be cool, leave the rear section open with a small wet shower/head and small galley up front- thought is I'd place a small door up front as well- all this in a sleek retro modern look- is this feasible? I've toured the site, many inspiring examples- thanks for your help!

I think if you do some searching you'll find others who have done something kind of like that (designing so that it can serve as both cargo and camping trailer)! It sounds very practical. Welcome!

Greetings! Anything is possible; you may need to make some parts modular and removable for dual usage. What you will find here is folks who will take your ideas and warp them into a usable solution. Don't be shy about asking.

You might want to post something in the cargo trailer part of the forum--I had actually thought members might have chimed in by now. They may not be finding you in here. There's a lot of help and support--be patient! Very, very smart people in here.
