Greetings from Washington State

Postby Digger403 » Sat Mar 06, 2010 7:42 pm

I recently started the process to aquire a six wide Little Guy, and should be on the road sometime in April.

I had planned to do a couple weeks camping off my motorcycle because I couldn't find a local Little Guy Dealer. I ended up talking to the nice folks at the factory, and they took the pain out of my endless searching.

I am anxious to visit new areas this camping season, and the teardrop will give me a wide range of options.

I really enjoy the informative posting on this forum, and am looking forward to bumping into some of you out and about.

Welcome, you have a great State to live in. I lived there 3 years while in the Army, I want to move back one day.

There is a lot of options for camping. We have been thinking about starting early over here because of the temps. Hope to see you out there.

I can tell that the answer to any question I might come up with is available on this forum. I do believe I will have a few as time goes on.

Ageless: I haven't seen any teardrops in the PO area, but it is nice to know they are here.

HD Danny: Thank you for the newsletter link. I haven't looked yet but will soon.

I have to spend some time learning my way around the forum...lots to learn.

A few teardrops show up every year at the Christian Life Center in Port Orchard.
They call it, "Cruisin Sunday" Car Truck And Bike Show & it's on the last Sunday of August.
It's a free car show and you can enter your teardrop, vintage car, truck or bike.
I took our teardrop the past 3 years and had a good time.
I won Best Teardrop (of three entered  ) in 2008. :D Danny

Thanks for that info, Danny. I plan to be in the vicinity of Yellowstone and the Tetons during the month of August, but if I happen to experience a schedule change... I will definitely show up at the CLC in Port Orchard.

The Yellowstone trip has been on the agenda since last year. I rode through Yellowstone coming home from Billings on the motorcycle last July, and didn't get to see many of the parks big features... but what I did see was enough to fuel the desire to go back for an extended stay. I am really looking forward to it.
