Hello newbie from central Indiana

Just found this site about a week ago, sure glad I did, this is the best site on TDs.
I have built an airplane, a backhoe from scratch, and now I'm building a TD.
About 60% done. It will have a bathroom at the rear under the hatch.
I will post pictures when I figure out how.
The sleeping area with cabinets is done, just the shower and inside walls at the rear to go.
The back end of the TD is like a Benroy with a fold down tail gate.
I'm thinking about a rubber roof, anybody tried this?

sounds like you are going to be finished your td in time for the camping season. post some pics for us.

we have a metal roof on our teardrop that we built last fall. after all the snow we had in maryland we have a dry cabin! woo hoo. now that the weather is getting nicer everyone is doing spring cleaning!

We have already said HI but welcome to the forum. "Help with pictures" is up top , just click and read ,if you are still having trouble yell for help. I was a slow learner and needed some assistance even after reading it thru ( twice )

Welcome to the forum Greg you found a great spot full of lots of info.

Hey there greg and welcome, I've been surfing around here for about 2 months and joined around 2 or 3 weeks ago and have found the people very helpful with the q's i asked and without a doubt in my mind a greaat bunch of people to boot !!
And i guess in the same thread i'd like to say hello to everyone else on this forum too.
I hope to see allot of you and your teardrops !!!!!!! sometime this year at some of the gatherings, I'm just hoping i can have mine finished when that time comes.
