Thanks Grid Runner

I was looking at the HF site and noticed the 2 trailers about the size I need
Can anyone explain why the one on the right cost $60 less than the one on the left
It looks better built and has a larger payload which really doesn't matter as mine will probably come in under 400lb

That's what I'm saying why is it less and not on sale?
I'd loose the sheet metal floor to save weight.

It's 40" wide my floor is 40 1/2" wide think after the 3/8" middle wall and whatever thickness I put on the outside wall it would leave room between the wall and the tire? Hope that made since.

Take your tape measure and go shopping.

Surely the fenders will bend out 3/4 inch or more without tire contact.

I know my local Harbor Freight does not stock the black one. They say it is online only so you will have to pay freight.

I know this weekend the HF in Toledo Ohio is having a big Sidewalk sale! Are any others having it too? :applause: :applause: :applause:

I just bought the 40' x 48 "' 870 trailer for 144.00, I am going to haul my kayaks on it & also use it for hauling other things.

Jst83, with most companies sale price is based on what has been sitting in the warehouse and not moving, or deeper than normal discounts for the manufacturer on a given product (most likely because it's piling up in their warehouse and not moving).

It could also be that this particular model is going to be changed slightly with the next factory shipment and they want to move out the last of the older design before they start to advertise the newer one.
