Thanks so much for hosting such an informative site. Before I registered, I was already getting answers to all those how-to questions. This all started for my by searching Ebay for a travel trailer and seeing a Little Guy for sale. It was then that I started looking for DIY plans. My trailer is still in my head, but the plan is to start retrieving it from there next month. I hope to eventually be pulling my trailer (my idea for now) with my 1949 Nash 600 Super, but for now the Jeep Wrangler will do just fine. Don't know what else to start off with for an intro. I'll be visiting often, so thanks to all in advance for your experience.

JT

I have now added a couple of pics of my 5'x10' Benroy Plans to my personal album if they will help anyone. (or if you see a problem with the design, please help me).

Hello from Wisconsin........and if there is one thing I have learned from this site, and reading ALL of the posts, is it will never get out of your head, regardless of how many teardrops you build.

JT, welcome to the forum. When I was a in high school, the 600 Nash addvertized that their car could go 600 miles, with the 20 gallon tank and a 30 miles per gallon, that would allow a 600 mile range. Pretty impressive, but not sure if it lived up to it's advertized MPG.

Nevertheless, good for you, plugging along with a 60 year old production model, by the Nash Company. How many modern day autos get that kind of gas milage, remberemring the promises made some 60 years ago? Wow, when I was in high school, this seemed like a pipe dream. Good for you, pressing on with a Nash 600. hoping to get the milage and preformace that was advertized way back when I was in High School, way. back in the 50's,, so many years ago.

Welcome JT, There will be a few of us at Palo Duro Canyon State Park near Amarillo Tx. in May and in the Lincoln National Forrest near Cloudcroft NM. in July. Check out the South Central thread for more info. Looks like about 300 miles to either place from Taos. Come by for a visit or camp with us.
