I said almost! But then, I guess it just depends on how much of a Gypsy you are. "Vardo" is one of the names for the wagons used by Gypsies which this is patterned after. Entire families of Rom (Gypsies) and Irish Travellers live in wagons not much bigger than this - or at least they used to not so long ago. But as the song says,

...winds of change are blowing,

Bufordt - Yep..it's me that has property in Tennessee, though I would have to take the wheels off the tumbleweed house, no mobiles allowed...and that's pretty mobile!
Mike - I like the idea of the summer house. How many square feet is that one?

The summer house is 10x10. Built up with 4' wide panels, with a 2' panel in the middle.

Build it in your back yard, pile it on your teardrop, and take it down south!!! Well, you might want to leave your teardrop body at home when you haul the panels there!

New ideas are always out there.

These to are way to big for tinny trailers but like was said before for those who own land and need a bigger place waiting and could build it in the backyard and truck it to the lot.

The owner of Tumbleweed homes was on Travel channel and he has plans to do an entire community of them in the future.

Right, good luck to him... He'll have to stick his new development out in the prarie somewhere, or at least where they have no zoning laws...

No one seems to be concerned about security, leaving something like this in the middle of no where..... You all must live in a better section of the country than I do.... and I'm not doubting that can be true.
