NEWBEE FROM NEVADA JUST BOUGHT A CARGO TRAILER TO CONVERT

This is the place where you can introduce yourself, and include a photo if so desired.

I saw how much the area has grown last time I drove from Lovelock to Carson 2 months ago. Lots a stuff spread out, at least for Nevada. I guess what I really meant is there is no official "town" there. We will be headed that way again in 2 weeks for the Eagles and Ag weekend.

As for Austin, here is a link for the next one. http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=34555 . Also, search for "glyphs" and you will find info and pics from the last two events in 2009. Also consider the IRG coming up in July. There will be well over 100 trailers there. That is linked to 'Pamlingrove" in the header at the top of each webpage.

Thanks for the compliment, we sure love our trailer and had a great time building it.

Thanx for the link and tips. We live on the Carson River in an area called Carson Plains by the locals.

Jim, I was down your way last weekend, just east of the 6 Mile Canyon intersection. It had been a while and I was sure surprised at the growth. Even stopped at the new Maverick. I remember when Dayton ended about 200 yards on either side of the stop light (but I guess that has been a while now lol).

Hi guys: Welcome to the T&TTT forum. I am a newbie here, too. I live in Reno. Have you ever heard of "The biggest little city in the world"? Maybe not. I have started on my 8' Cubby teardrop. It looks like we are in for a journey before the journey begins. The build then the first of many camping trips that is. You will find a lot of info here. I have found many ideas here. This will make it easier on both of us on our builds. Well anyway, Good Luck

Hi Chukar - welcome aboard! I think you'll be very happy here. Lots of wonderful people with so much knowledge and they are always willing to share what they know.

I used to live in Winnemucca and loved it there. Hubby worked at the Goldfields mine and I used to hunt deer around Battlemountain. I just love everthing about Nevada!

Looking forward to watching your conversion...good luck!
