Think of it as making it easier to fish with less trouble so a bit of time not fishing will pay dividends 8)

Or buy one off the shelf.

Hi, and welcome. I'm new here too. You sound like my hubby.

He wanted to build a camper for a long time, so he chose the winter months to do it. This worked great, because he doesn't fish or ride his 4-wheeler much in the winter months. Hope you have fun with your project. Fishing and riding will be even more fun when you can go crash for awhile in your new camper!

Hi camping4me, let me get this straight.......you are going to work on your teardrop somewhere next to your favorite fishing hole, "if the fish aren't biting'? Now that is a novel concept. Good luck.

I wonder if you could elaborate on what you mean by a "fiberglass shell". This is an interesting concept, and wonder if you plan to fiberglass the exterior, or use the fiberglass shell, as a structural component. What ever you decide, do take plenty of pics, post em and we will all enjoy following the progress of your build. Ask questions and someone will surely answer, after all most of us have been where you are right now.
