What do you guys think of this?

Does this look worth the money? I'm new to this whole game, but I've always loved these trailers. Seems like a reasonable deal to me.

The guy was very nice and sent me a ton more pictures.. He claims there are no leaks aside from a spot under the back window that may need to be resealed. Also said no rust, no soft spots on floor, new tires, new electrical, new 7 pin trailer plug. Some of the exterior skin in the back has pulled away, but from the pics looks repairable. Looks to me like it just needs a bit of TLC on the outside.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Oughta be worth at least a close look! If the siding is pulled away you might put some CPES on what ever wood is exposed just in case......

Some of the exterior skin in the back has pulled away, but from the pics looks repairable.

Without good pictures it is hard to guess, but almost always when skin is pulled away it is because the screws holding it to the wood frame have lost their holding power because the wood is rotten...

MOST old trailer owners do not have any idea what kind of damage is hiding behind "its just a minor water stain" or " the skin is just a little loose, a few screws will fix it".

This trailer, if it has no more than cosmetic damage is probably worth the asking price, but if there is rot in the structure, it is no small job repairing it and the asking price is more than most familiar with this kind of repair would be willing to pay.

You might consider writing to Nancy, the head of the Scotty club.

I noticed that all three outside pictures are of the passenger side. Was this an oversight or a trick to keep from showing damage on the driver side? Also, you should know how recent the pictures are. It's best to physically see and inspect the trailer before any money is spent.

Here are some pics he sent me. I think it was an oversight by him on the craiglist ad. I wouldnt be able to see this in person, so that's why I'm asking him for a ton of pics and then advice by you guys.

Not to bad. There may be some water damage all along the lower left side. Something you need to look further into and ask about.

Where those corners have pulled away I would definitely expect to find rot. They don't show any pics of the ceiling so it's hard to say how that looks. It would also be good if they sent you some pics of the inside corners where the benches are with the cushions removed so you can see if water has seeped in. On an initial look though, it doesn't look too bad. the interior looks to be in pretty decent shape. If the wood damage is only in the lower front and back it probably won't be that bad to repair. You will definitely want to check behind the skin in the back if there has been a leak though.
