We have a conventional tandem but have wanted a recumbent for year. There was a presentation by one of the manufacturers at the Mid West Tandem Rally some years back and most of the couples were about our age and leaning over the bars is getting a bit painful![]()
Got to try one out twice, from what they told us it takes about 40 miles before you become comfortable. I would love to find one, handle bars under the bottom tube.
Heard about one wife who was so pissed at hubby that she pulled his shorts down over the seat and jumped off, (would be difficult to dismount and most tandems are almost imposable to ride solo).

Any ideas?l![]()
