Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

"ONLY"? That sounds like a pretty nice system, actually! Mine's just a comparatively small, simple system,
consisting of your typical Sony, 52 watts per channel (supposedly) head unit, driving a couple of little 6 1/2" Polk Audios,
mounted in the wall unit. I would've at least liked to have added a couple of 6x9s to go with 'em, but there was just no room.

The sub is just an 8", with a 160 watt integrated amp. A small, simple, & very basic
system, but more than adequate for my needs, especially in such a confined space!

I totally agree. When I'm actually CAMPING, I won't be jammin' much, or watching much TV,
but I'll be using this thing for a lot more than just camping, IE, extended visits with friends & family,
so when the ocassion DOES arise, I really wanna enjoy my little "home away from home"!
Can't wait!

Most of the 12-volt wiring is now (finally) finished. :)
Still have to wire up for charging from the truck, & add an inverter.

I was at Tractor Supply today and noticed they had some large stainless Dog Food Bowls just like yours and I thought of you. The real big one was only about $10.

It is really turning out well!!!

I bought the 5-qt size. $11 at Wally World.

Thanx again, Curtis! Most of the BIG stuff is done. It's comin' down to odds & ends
now, but it's still gonna take at least another week or two, the way I'm going.

The TV gets pushed to the rear of it's cubbyhole, & stowed for travel:

Joey, those metal bungy hook wrappings are gonna do a job on the top of your television and the front of your microwave! Maybe you could wrap them in black tape or something?

Yeah, I thought about that, thanx.
Just another of the many details yet to be addressed! :)

Looking great Joey,
Here's a tip.

Get some heat shrink tubing to cover the metal hooks.
Harbor Freight sells the big sizes cheap.
You can even get it in colors now.
I use that stuff for a lot of things besides electrical connections.

A couple of layers makes great screw driver and hammer handles.

That's a good idea! Sadly, there's no Harbor Freight near me
though, but I can still pick some up somewhere, I'm sure.

I've never used the stuff. Can U shrink it with a blow dryer,
or does it require an open flame?

Well, since my heat shrink gun is 1500 watts, and my hair dryer is 1600 watts, I'd say yes.

However, the heat shrink gun puts out a more concentrated heat with less "blow", whereas a hair dryer fan sends heat everywhere so it won't burn up hair. You can probably use the hair dryer on a low setting, but it might take some time to shrink down...

Believe it or not you can use a butane lighter. Just keep the flame away a couple inches. Heat gun is easier but the lighter will work.

Kix & 8 Ball, thanx for the input! Seems to me I've seen
someone shrinking that stuff with a lighter, come to think of it.
