I found this message while searching archives for FOLD-N-ROLL. For more information about the FOLD-N-ROLL see
http://www.earthwheels.com (site dose not work). I am working with the founder to bring this
amazing solid walled folding trailer back into production. Less than 100 FOLD-N-ROLLs were produced between 1997 and 1999. FOLD-N-ROLLs set up in less than 60 seconds (my 12 year old
does it in 27 seconds) The are extremely well built and have held up well over time.
: Some FOLD-N-ROLLS were optionally equiped with the exclusive 'no-load' hitch. This set dual road wheels is caster mounted under the trailer tongue and is linked via a steering arm to the hitch
ball mount on the towing vehicle. With no hitch weight and a positive steering mechanism - the trailer tows behind a front wheel drive minivan with amazing ease.
: I just towed a FOLD-N-ROLL from San Jose to Orange County California (approx 400 miles) via Rt 101. Up hill, down hills, winds, semis - the rig was very stable without any sway nor any
feeling of the 'tail wagging the dog'. In fact, other than impact on acceleration, it never felt like I had a trailer attached to the Windstar.
I find no more about his efforts.
