Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

We have REI, Cabelas, Scheels and Sportsmans warehouse, but no bass pro in Reno. For my money, I have been to Scheels but have yet to buy anything. Seems to be less camping stuff and more "sports" oriented. Cabelas and Sportsmans are more hunting than Scheels. REI not hunting at all. Sportsmans and Cabelas has the most cooking. Just went to REI yesterday and came home with new all terrain sandal/shoes shoes for the hubby, a two egg holder and new water bottle. There are somethings at REI that I just don't find anywhere else. It is more pricey, but has some unique and higher quality items. Its the place for backpacking and rockclimbing, but not so much for teardrop and camper camping. Have gotten most of my DO stuff at Sportsmans. sorry, never been to bass pro. Although REI is more pricey, you do get an annual dividend as a member and a 20% annual Discount. Saved me $30 bucks yesterday.

In TX I had all of the above mentioned stores near me.
BPS and Cabela's were pretty much the same. Sportsman's Warehouse was a little cheaper and had more camp cooking supplies. REI=expensive

Sure Rocky, go with WalMart and send all that bonus money to China.

As for Cabela's or BPS, they look pretty much the same to me.
