You know, when I picked up that Lodge 8 waffle iron with the too-large ring at an auction a couple of weeks back, I really got a box full of cast iron. There was an indoor 10" oven, a lid for a smaller oven and two griddles. Here is the interesting one:

Looks pretty much like the one you got, doesn't it, Kevin?

Here is a most interesting picture of the bottom:

I'd say I got a fairly good deal, with just the waffle iron and the griddle, not to mention the indoor Dutch oven. $40 for the entire box.

One of you should sell yours to the other for a double DO table. :)

:DOH2: I cooked a package of bacon on my CI skillet a few months back...outside on the Coleman. There was so much hot grease that it more than filled the griddle and started flowing off on the lowest corner. I slid it off the burners a little so I could put a can under the spot but some of the grease had gotten down into the stove. The next morning it was 28 degrees and I could pry it off easily. Could have been a real mess. From now on, pancakes only on the griddle.

Free can of bacon grease to anyone who wants it!
